Survey |
| This study, funded
in part by a US Dept. of Ed Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to
Use Technology (PT3) grant, set out to collect data on teacher's
use of technology, as well as their attitudes and concerns about
technology use in teaching. For the survey, we used a technique
called "branching", to give participants different
questions based on their role as a preservice teacher, K-12
teacher, or faculty member. We also created several reports
for the client, based on their specifications. |

| Campaign
Simulation for Political Consultants |
| This research study
by a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Government at Cornell
University takes a scenario-based approach to survey research.
Political consultants across the country we asked to imagine
themselves as the campaign consultant for the incumbent in a
two-person race for a seat in the US House of Representatives..
A 6-digit ID number was used to ensure confidentiality. The
site itself uses frames to create a split-window effect; participants
have access to background information about the districts and
candidates, as well as benchmark poll results, as they complete
the simulation. |
